We have all had days, where working in a messy kitchen has proven to be a matter of great ordeal. An organized kitchen can help you cook more efficiently and quickly! But the actual process of organizing the kitchen and decluttering the mess can offer you a great sense of control. Also, who does not like a clean space?

Here are 8 easy tips that can help you organize your kitchen once and for all!

1.DO NOT BE A HOARDER

We all love storing things hoping that One day we will use them. But Alas, that day never comes. Instead of letting stuff like old crockery, cups and jars collect dust, get rid of them and create more space. A fully stocked kitchen is not always an organized one.

2.DONATE THE EXTRA COOKBOOKS

You do not need to pile cookbooks over cookbooks. Except for a select two or three that you use too often, donate the rest of them. Almost every recipe you can find on the internet today and also E-books, as well as audio versions of the hard copies you have.

3.DO NOT OVERINDULGE

Keep a check on yourself while doing your weekly grocery. Do not buy fancy food items that are just pleasing to your eyes but will never be consumed once they reside in your fridge or pantry. Also, food has an expiration date. It is better to consume first what you have already rather than purchasing unnecessary items.

4.VERTICAL STACKING

Stack or arrange utensils and appliances in a vertical manner. You can easily locate the items and this kind of arrangement also takes less space. You can also hang your glassware, spoons, and spatulas on a wall or a ceiling glass holder.

5.LABELLING IS A LIFE SAVER

Use containers to streamline the inside of your cabinets. Group things like dry mixes, pulses, cereal, and much more, then put them into small plastic containers to avoid them being scattered all over the cabinet. Label them while you are at it. Clear markings will allow you to easily find items and not create a mess every time you are looking for something.

6. USE DIVIDERS

Cabinet/Drawer dividers are incredible for cooking tools. Everybody needs a spot to keep those little things, however, they don’t need to be flooding the space. Cabinet dividers will give you room to allot a designated place for everything, and you’ll have the option to find things when you need them.

7.SECTION YOUR PANTRY

Divide your pantry into sections so you can find everything easily – baking, sides, snacks, canned goods, sauces, spices, etc. Label them and stack things accordingly. A slider door or curtain can help you conceal your pantry and will help your kitchen look neat and clutter free.

8.DEEP CLEAN YOUR FRIDGE EVERY MONTH

Why not do a profound clean once every month where you take everything out of the fridge, remove the racks, and give everything all around a great clean. Having a shimmering refrigerator will spur you to keep it that way always!
